This guy I like who's sort of a friend (not a close one) always tells me I'm short and teases me about it then laughs and hugs me. Sometimes I don't know if I should be taking it personally.meaning he doesn't think I'm attractive (and hence doesn't feel the way I do about him), or do you think he does like me? Or maybe it doesn't mean anything at all?
Update: I don't actually mind being teased about it, I'm quite happy to be little (makes it feel so good when he puts his arms around me), but just wondering what he means when he teases me about being short.

Well, I'd most definitely say it is a form of flirting, and then giving you a hug afterwards. If he had an angry tone of voice no hug and just said all sorts of different mean things it would be a different story. If you really take note of his body language such as his stance, facial expression or expressions, tone of voice and how he moves when he says it and when he goes to hug you and really thought about it I'm sure you would come to the same conclusion.
Sounds like flirting to me! (especially since it seems to be an excuse for a hug) and don't worry, guys like short girls. No dude wants a giant. Just like girls like tall guys
