I live with my ex boyfriend. We broke up 18 months ago and became friends after ending our 3 year relationship.
Now that we live together I have realized how much we have both grown up and changed. I am developing strong feelings for him again. He is also being very amorous with me. cuddling up to me on the couch, buying me gifts, calling me at work.So essentially it would seem that he is into me right?
But, last week we ended up in bed together and the next day, before I said a word, he said, "this should never have happened! We'll never work as housemates if we do this again!". I just agreed. But he's back to being the 'housemate husband'? What is up?
Update: Just to clarify:) When I say he is back to being the 'housemate husband' , I mean that he is back to being amorous, affectionate, doing all things that a 'husband' would do. very kind and sweet. But no further sexual relations at this stage:)

I think he likes you but doesn't know if you want a relationship. It is possible that he does. He could have been trying to see how you felt about it all. Just look at what he said. HOUSEMATES! He could want to be more than housemates. I really wonder how he would have responded if you would not have agreed, and said you wanted to be more. The only way to find out truly is to ask.
