For 2 years we kinda known each other but never said much up until 9 months ago while I was pregnant (from my ex boyfriend that I've known for 8 years) we'd talk about different things he was always sweet with me. (maybe out of pity- single and pregnant) so I started back work and was thinking about working in a different dept. One day he came up to me and asked if it was true about going to that dept. and offered it to me. (he's a supv) so here I am working with him and others of course for 12 hours & it's pretty weird. Sometimes he'll walk past me without looking at me won't even talk to me. but at least once, before the shift is over we'll talk. sometimes we'll play around (pranks and stuff like that, he does this with others also) I forgot to mention that I use to date one of his friends that is also from the job but it was nothing serious however he still likes me alot. So sometimes I think that's why he(my crush) doesn't say to much to often. I hardly approach him but it's because I'm shy, sometimes my mind is at a complete blank, I feel intimidated by him, and I think it's a waste of time because his friend, the one I dated still likes me (by the way it was over a year ago when we dated)One day I asked who was his favorite out of these 2 new guys he said neither & gave me his reasons why. He then tells me that I'm his favorite. I of course told him he was mine. Another day he stands by me and I tell him that he smelt good, he tells me that it's me that smells good. We flirt a little We're pretty sarcastic with one another at times I'm just so confused because I don't know what to make of it and I don't want to ask him now because if he doesn't like me I'll feel weird working with him and vise-versa. I feel like he's the type of guy that values his friendships, I just think sometimes he likes me. I don't know what to do.
Does this guy have rejection issues or is he shy? There's a lot of reasons he could be acting the way that he is: 1. He's not sure that you really like him; 2. He's scared of the fact that you have a kid; 3. He's not sure whether you're interested in him or the other guy; 4. He's shy too; 5. He's intimidated by you too; 6. He's just flirting with you because he's attracted to you; 7. He's fearful of rejection from you; 8. He's got a girlfriend; 9. He's gay; 10. He's interested in someone else; I guess the list could probably go on from there. No one really can answer the question of whether he really likes you or not, but you do have some options. You can: 1. Ask him out; 2. Continue to flirt with him and see where it goes; 3. Do nothing and see if he makes the first move; 4. Go out with the other guy & see if it makes him jealous; 5. Ask him if he likes you; 6. Have a friend ask him if he likes you; 7. Forget about him. I'm sure there are other options, but I think you need to do something or else you're going to drive yourself nuts with this! :) Good luck!
