So, I work with this guy and I've never really noticed him before. But, the other day I was clocking in and he was in the break room, and made some comment to me about this commercial that was on. I had a sarcastic remark about it and he laughed. He works in a completely different department than I do, so I don't see him that often, but he does work with a few of my friends. Yesterday I passed by, and started talking to one of the said friends and she formally introduced me to him. Also, he made it a point to say goodbye as he left last night. I think he's cute and has a likable personality from what I've seen so far. I think he may be attracted to me, but I don't really get to see him that often since we're in different departments. So, now what? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Gracias.
Looks like he's slowly starting his game on you and stepping it up. Don't play it too easy on him but look out for when he's trying to chat you up. Give him some indicators of interest. Next time he talks to you make some eye contact to urge him on to you.
I think you can play the wait and see game at this point. If it takes too long, try to find a way that you bump into him.
make up a reason to stop by his department. but it also seems to me he's working his way to doing the same thing so I am sure you two will run into each other.
Have you ever heard the saying, "Never date a coworker" ?. Well, coming from experience, these are some very good words of advice. Lets just say you two hit it off. What happens if you were to argue? What if things don't work out? Then you have to see him everyday that you come to work. Does he talk to a lot of people at work? If so, What would he say about you two while your seeing each other, or even after its over? It's always fun to like someone new, but these are all things you should think about before you ever get involved with a coworker. It could go smoothly if you end up liking each other, Or it could be a complete disaster. If you're willing to take a risk, then go for it.
I really feel like a goofy teenager again. I started a new job and have developed a crush on one of my colleagues. It's started off as a few harmless...

Describe your ideal first date; Where do you go? What do you wear? How does the date end?
I would take her to a nice but quiet restaurant so that I could have a chance to really talk to her. Then I would probably take her somewhere for a drink - a place that has music and maybe dancing.
Afterwards..what will your date know about you?
I would hope to know a lot about her and for her to know that I am interested in her.
