im trying to figure out if the guy I like just sees me as a friend or more. I think he likes me and most other people I've asked think he does, but I'm not sure. how can a girl know if a guy just sees her as a friend or if he likes her more than that? like what are the differences in the way a guy is with a girl he likes compared to one he just wants to be friends with? I'm sure it may differ in guys and you may not know for sure.
Eye contact is the major difference for me. If I am talking to a girl i like I usually have my eyes locked on hers whenever we are speaking. If it is a girl friend than I usually will be focused on something else and I only make eye contact occasionally. Also touching like leading her through a doorway with my hand, or holding her hand if were going to class means I like her.
So if the guy I like was talking to one of his friends(I think it may have been a girl) and I was play fighting with a friend(I don't think we were being very loud either) and my friend and I turned around and saw him looking at me while smiling/laughing he would probably like me because he was focused on me?? - 6 months ago

Yeah I guess that's true. the same thing happened before where he was looking and smiling at me when I was smiling while talking to a friend when I thought I couldn't notice him. we weren't doing anything funny. - 6 months ago
So this one guy seems to be able to go up to anyone but me lately. it never used to be a problem. we've flirted and my friends have caught him looking at me. they say he doesn't look/stare at other girls and treats me differently in a good way. so he could like me, but is just shy/doesnt know what to say?
