I think it's easier flirting online, except for the damn computer tone. LOL. You can say things easier online than in person, things you probably wouldn't say outloud.
I ended up in a relationship with someone I met online. It started out the same as any other relationship. Communication over work, friends, experiences, flirting. It lasted a year and then I broke it off.
I believe that if you genuinely feel safe with the person, like if you've chatted for a long time, and really have a sense that it's a real person, and not someone playing around, it's ok to flirt. But if it's someone who's typing and grammar fluctuates, and they don't hold their end of the conversation up very well, then stop communicating with them period.
There are lots of bad people on here, with lots of different motives and you should be made to feel as a victim on your own computer.
