How can a girl let you know she likes you without being direct?

I think the best way is to make an effort to contact his hand. I remember the first time this happened to me. I was buying my espresso, and the girl at the counter made a concerted effort to grab my hand as I handed her my ATM card.

I didn't really feel like going up to her and grabbing her away from the other guy so I sat down with some of my friends and stared her way for about 10 minutes.
