ok, well I met this guy a year ago at my work and we instantly became good friends and were constantly flirting. I started to like him a few months later and it always kinda seemed like he liked me but I was never sure. We became best friends and one day he told me that he had a girlfriend. They dated for about six months and she was constantly threatened by me. She hated me and would always bitch at him for being friends with me. Well, in april, I asked him to go to my prom with me. He is my best friend, so of course he said yes.The next day, he told me that he couldn't because she was freaking out. I understood and said I would find someone else to go with. Well, after a month she had given him so much crap about the things he does and who he hangs out with that he got sooo sick of her and threatened to break up with her. She said she would let him go with me. So, about two days before prom, she freaked out while we were both working together and was saying how she didn't trust him around me and so on. Well, we went to prom together. Note that I still like him A LOT. we slowed danced and it was really cute and after prom we just had a great time. and then the next morning we worked together and were getting along better than ever and everything seemed perfect. Well, the next night he broke up with his girlfriend. after that, he and I started hanging out a lot lot more. we hug all the time, when we greet each other and when we say goodbye, always. well I thought after they broke up, something would happen. its about a month or so later and nothing has happened. I can't seem to figure out whether he likes me or not. His sister, who is a year younger and also works with us, is also one of my best friends. If its not just he and I hanging out, its the three of us and their other best friend. But he has no other girls in his life besides me and his sister. like we always sit next to each other and we always end up touching. and lately he's been like always wanting to get the bill for the both of us if we go to dinner or something. but we've never kissed or anything. and his friend is always making suggestive comments about he and I hooking up. I don't get it, why hasn't he made a move?
he likes you, definitely! you might if to make the first more or tell his friend to tell him to stop being a drop nuts and kiss you if you don't wanna make the first move. this is a no brainer really id say just do it.
It seems like a no brainer sometimes but other times he acts like he doesn't like me at all. like tonight we were hanging out and he was on his laptop and he told me he was talking to "this person" and he would never say he or she just "them" and I was like oh who are you talking to? and he tells me his best friends ex girlfriends name whom he was talking to outside of his house when I came over the other day. and I was like oh what's going on with yall? and he was like uh I don't know. and it was - 6 months ago

Just like really weird and awkward. but when he was talking to her online he like didn't pay attention to me at all. and it pissed me off. haha but I don't know and when we were walking to my car, I was leaning on him and we were just standing there right in front of each other and talking and then we just hugged goodbye. I want to say something, but I am so afraid of losing my best friend. like if he doesn't feel the same way, I'm afraid id ruin our friendship and that would just crush me more. - 6 months ago
Hmm he definitely seems to like you. I think that guys have an overall image of being straight up with their feelings.sort of like a."they go for what they want" kinda thing. This is true, but not all guys are willing to make the first move and be straight forward about everything, this is why men are so damn complicated! lol. He could be stalling, or perhaps he's trying to create a time gap between when he broke up with his ex and when he makes a move on you, that way it makes you seem less like a rebound and it does better for his reputation (it makes him look less like a player). If you're getting impatient, I'd definitely be upfront about everything.give him obvious signals and let him know for sure that ur interested. If he's still not doing anything.then take the plunge and let him know exactly how ur feeling and make the first move entirely
See I guess I kinda figured that if he liked me, then he would make a move or tell me or something. but I'm not sure that he would. but my friends say that I don't even make it obvious that I like him. Haha ok hopefully you get this because I'm kinda new here lol. well you never know that really could be the case..sometimes even when we think we're making it soo obvious, the guy still isn't sure. If you really think he likes you then you have nothing to lose, so just got for it! Umm I think a lot of the usual touching, eye contact, deep conversation thing are definitely things you should do. Perhaps even being straight up and asking if he would like to go on a date. - 6 months ago
