I'd say one of the most intimidating things is when a good-looking girl surrounds herself with her girlfriends who look like they could play for an NFL team. I know some girls do this intentionally at the bars to keep creeps from hitting on them all night, but I don't think some girls even realize that they're scaring off all the guys. When a girl is out at a bar, party, etc., I like them to be wearing something decently nice, but I generally don't go for the girls who look like they're heading to prom. A good balance between dressed up and laid back is what I find is most approachable.
