There's this guy in my summer school class. I sit in the back and he sits all the way across the room in the very front. I noticed that he was always looking back in my direction but I didn't really think much of it until I realized that he was looking at me. My friend sits next to me and she said "You know that guy in the front? He stares at you alot, just thought I'd let you know that." So, I'm not the only one who's noticed it. It's been going on for about a week and a half now. When I look over there he's always looking and when I look he either turns and looks out the window or looks down. When he gets up to go somewhere he looks at me the whole way out of the classroom. I want to introduce myself to him somehow, but I'm kind of scared how he'll react because I don't know him at all. He doesn't really talk to anyone in class so I don't know if he would even talk to me if I tried introducing myself. I'm shy too so I don't really know what to do.
To answer your question guys stare at girls there are attracted to. It sounds like he is a little shy too, so if you made the first move this would most likely jump start the possibilities. Put the ball in his court and leave it at that.
Yeah, he probably likes you. If you're that shy about it maybe you should start by asking him a question about what you're learning in school, "Did you understand that last equation?" or "So what happened after he was dethroned?" whatever the subject is. That should at least get you talking. Then you could casually slip in "By the way I'm [insert name here]."
