i like this guy named jake and he has told me b4 he doesn't like me, but he acts otherwise. there was a point in time when his best friend liked me and he got really mad at him. then my best friend and her boyfriend broke up and 10 minutes later, the guy asked me out. I of course said no, but I didn't tell my other best friend devante what I said for like a week. he thought we were dating and he and jake are best friends, so he told jake we were dating too. jake yet again got veryyyyyy mad at me. I finally told devante we weren't and then he told jake. this past week we all went to church camp, and there was a guy there named jordan. every time he saw me he would walk up and put his arms around me. but he only did this because he wanted me to hook him up with my best friend. jake thought I liked this guy and got mad at jordan. the other day, I was talking to devante on the phone and someone else called me and I told devante I would call him back. it was this older guy named alex. he is like my older brother. when I called devante back I told him who called and he thought I was "talking" to alex. then I told him the truth, but 2 be funny, he told jake I was talking to alex. jake freaked out and told devante he had to talk me out of it. we led jake on for a few days, then devante finally told him it was all a joke. but the thing is jake is obsessed with a girl named kody and whenever she is around, he doesn't want anything to do with me. but when it is me and him, he doesn't shut up. he flirts with me 24/7 when it is me and him, but he won't admitt to liking me. I don't understand what he is trying to say. what should I do? should I just give it time and see what happens or jump in and say something to him about it?
please help!
Update: jake asked devante last night if I had been talking abouthi (which I had) and devante said maybe, have you been thinking about her? jake said maybe, yea a little.how do you explain that?

Hang in there, I am not really sure what it is that you should do. Just know that the older you get the less you will have to deal with this many people involved in a simple relationship.
Once a Guy tells you straight to your face I don't like you , it is exactly what he mean , he cares for you as a friend and doesn't want you to get fooled by some other but that's far as it goes in my opinion!
