NO, it's not right. if he or she is an ex, then he or she is probably madder than hell! I've been that ex before! the ex will probably date the best friend just to get back at the person he or she broke up with. so it's a horrible cycle of pain. the ex boyfriend or girlfriend will just try to make the person that broke up with them hurt or jealous. and that will not only hurt the best friend of the person who broke up with the ex but it will also hurt the person who broke up with the ex.

NO - serious from past experience as the third person it does not work. Seriously just don't even put yourself in that position. My ex best friend and I came good mates when me and him where going out, and even when we broke up we still kept in touch. It grew to something and just the consequences it wasn't worth it.
