I always have been attracted to quiet, smart, kind of shy girls. But I am the exact opposite. I am really loud when near people I know and I am always talking to people. Does the quiet girl/ outgoing guy situation work?

yeah it can really work. plus it doesn't matter if you two are good together it will work regardless of shyness she will come out of her shell when around you so I don't see why it shouldnt most shy people are really loud around their friends they just need to feel comfortable. plus you could b really good for their confidence anyway. trust me if you are compatible you will work regardless of shy/outgoing issues.

ye it could work, anything is possible =) after all, all the movies out there are only with these types of couples.

just remember to give them space and not scare them away by being all in their face lol. When you first meet them try to hold back your loudness when with her and smile instead of being all like "hey babe!" type of thing, show her that you are approachable and sophisticated or w/e. First time appearance is never forgettable so play it soft for the first time. later on you can show your true self as she has already accepted you, so the rest is up to her whether she likes you or not as person excluding your extrovertness.

good luck

My best friend is that shy, quiet girl and the guy she likes is how you described yourself. He's actually gotten her to come out of her shell. I think the opposite relationship could definately work.

Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. My fiance and I are exact opposites in many ways. I'm a city gal and he's a country bumpkin, he's loud and I'm quiet, he is simple and I am very complex, he is blunt and I am calculating. I think what needs to happen for it to be successful is a a common ground. If you are so different that you have nothing in common and can't see where the other person is coming from it's too hard. But if you have a relationship in which you both are different but have some common interests than it can work.

Opposite Attracts.

Think of it as a way to fill in each other's void. It's much better than have a couple that are both quiet as that's kind of boring and if they are both outgoing then drama happens a lot.

In these cases, sometimes it also comes down to compromise; my girlfriend now is the bookwork, and I'm teh social person; whenever there is a social event, she doesn't want to go, but she knows she has to go.also, when she wants to go to poetry recitals and such, well, I come to those too, although they are not my favorite thing to do; however, is all about enjoying the moment and the company of each other. So your situation works perfectly fine as long as both of you are mature enough for it. :)
