There's this girl that I finally got to go on a date with me. I'm taking her out to for something to eat after her basketball practice and I just need to know what to talk about and how to keep a conversation going. This is probably my one time to get it right so I really need some advice.
Compliment her and ask her questions about herself. Girls like talking about themselves. Also ask her her opinion about the date. Is she enjoying it? Try asking her out at the end of the night and ask her where she wants to go.
Pay her compliments - sincere ones, not cheesy. Keep things light and funny in the beginning and, as dinner is wrapping up, be a little more serious and let her know that you hope to do this again soon.
But if the conversation seems to drag, remember to ask questions that she can't answer yes or no to. Instead, ask questions that require her to talk about her ideas and opinions.
