I'm not a guy, but I'll put in my two-cents. Honestly, I wouldn't worry. For one, he has a girlfriend. Second, he didn't call you (maybe he is realizing it is wrong to be going out for drinks/movie with a girl that is not his gf, OR maybe he is just inconsiderate).
He might have just made the comment matter-of-factly. Sometimes guys do that.
