So I met this guy a few years ago randomly at the bookstore by chance, seemed really cool and cute. so he got my e-mail etc, and we've e-mailed; i.m.ed; talked for the past couple years, flirty but depth-convos, totally clicked. (whenever we'd plan to hang out, plans would fall through). So anyway, a week earlier he e-mailed me saying how badly he wants to finally hang out, never got around to replying but I found out he was gonna go to this party that I normally wouldn't have gone to, so I show up JUST to see him. to surprise him. so I get all cute and show up, and I am honestly expecting him to be like STOKED to finally see me again, I mean it's been years, COME ON!
But to my slap-in-the-face surprise, he acted as if nothing. like "hey, what's up" not "omg what are you doing here? wow, shit, HI" wtf? so even though disappointed by his greeting, I hung out with him for a bit then I was like "well I'm headed out" and he was like "oh you're leaving so early? okay. well we seriously have to hang out again" I don't know man, I just really cannot grasp his lack of excitement to see me again after years. when he saw me he called me by name, so it wasn't that he didn't remember me. honestly, I am in a state of shock :s
pretty simple really.guys hide their feelings because we think it is a sign of weakness, which means we are deffinatley not gonna show our "weaknesses" to a girl.also he may of been hiding his excitment because he likes you, but he doesn't no how you feel about him so he doesn't wanna feel a bit silly expressin his feelings to a girl that may not even like him that way
i just try and playfully flirt, I listen to her, try and cheer her up when she is sad.that type of thing
