Why do so many guys go online and meet girls then after talking to them a few times want to talk on the phone? I've noticed that this is a pattern with many guys. I'm not talking about weirdos or crazy people. Normal, regular, attractive guys. A lot of them even have girlfriends yet they do this.

What's the point in talking on the phone? Unless you live close by and can actually hang out some day. I especially don't get why guys with girlfriends do that.

well one reason a guy with a girlfriend would do it is because it serves the same purpose as this site, advice, and the phone gives you more reliable access to that advice

I like hearing the voice of girls I like. It's just another degree of closeness above IM and it's a lot easier to get personality and emotion accross that you can't tell through text or IM.
