There's a guy I know who is interested in me and he is very social and outgoing and honest. I am 75% sure he is interested in me and shows it through his actions and sometimes through hints in conversation but he has never, ever asked me out. Why is it he can be bold and do all these flirty actions and says some really flirty things or innuendos but can't even directly ask me out.

you can be outgoing but also worried about rejection, so there's still a step into the unknown to ask the question.

maybe he thinks you might be attached or seeing someone? it's usually been a surprise to me when a girl I'm attracted to *doesn't* have a boyfriend :P

do you like him? would you like him to ask you out?

if you like him & want to go out with him, why not ask him yourself? if you're worried about the reaction you might get, then you have an idea what he might be feeling ;)

I actually have a guy friend who has been interested in a girl for a while. If you see him out in public, people may think that he's out going. But he's VERY shy with girls especially if he likes her. I told him to ask her out, but he says he doesn't have much money to take her out and treat her well. So he's waiting till he can.
