Alright, I like this guy; he's in two of my classes. He always walks over to my desk, even if it's just to talk to me for a few seconds. I have caught him staring at me a couple of times. If something funny happens in class, he looks at me and smiles.Problem is - when I say he comes over to talk, he hardly says anything at times! It's strange, because he'll talk to other girls easily (which makes me jealous haha), but when it comes to me, he's relatively quiet.
At times we do talk quite a bit and I make him laugh like crazy and vice versa. But, the usual quietness had me thinking he didn't like me, but if he didn't like me at all (even just as a friend), why would he keep coming over to me? I am very shy when it comes to guys so I have a hard time saying things to him as well.Do you guys think he may be interested? A friend of mine told me I intimidate him and, when she told him I thought he was cute (which was really immature but what can ya do?), he basically said "No way".
Update: Thanks to everyone who answered, it's appreciated!

Wow! This happened to me! You see, when a guy likes you, he would always act differently around you. Whether it is clamming up, or randomly getting noisy and obnoxious. If he always talks to other girls comfortably, then most likely he does not like them. If he is an outgoing guy and when he comes over to you and gets really quiet, this is a sign that he likes you. I hope things work out. My advice to you, is that you try to talk to him. Find out what he likes and what kind of person he is in general. ;];];]
He almost certainly likes you and he's almost certainly shy about it. He would say "no way" because of his shyness, NOT because he's not thinking about you.
So now, how do two shy people who almost certainly like each other conquer their fears? When you did talk and he laughed like crazy, what was the situation/topic? Whatever it was, it was working for you so try to repeat it. Not word-for-word, just, were you one-on-one, walking to class, no other friends around, making fun of the teacher? Okay get him one on one while walking to class again, ditch the other friends, and try to find whatever it is that he likes to laugh at and talk about it again.
Repeat three times and the ice is broken. Then find out where you can talk some more, lunch, after school, on the phone. If he's super shy he can warm up in that way. But if you just ask a super shy guy out right off the bat, you might get a "No way" even if he likes you. Guys (and shy girls) are funny that way.

If I guy laughs a lot then that could be a sign of him liking you.
A good example this girl in my school laughs at the simplest jokes I make that I find not really funny she laughs tons and smiles and looks back at me more then should be done. And as for me I do the same for girls I like.

He digs you! Its the fact that you make him feel different that the other girls do and he doesn't know how to react on that...and as far as the no way he was asked on spot and it was the immature quick answer he could give so that no one would patronize him!

He obviously likes you if he's shy around you and if it's hard for you to talk to him because it's hard for you to talk to guys than just pretend he is somone you like as a friend but if you really like him give him hints don't flat out say it, good luck girl.
