Okay. So I love one guy but I like another. The one I love lives in Kansas (and I am in Florida) and neither of us want to start a relationship because for both of us, long distance has never worked out well. But I really do love him. And then there's a guy that I have liked off and on for quite a while. In 7th grade I liked him, 8th grade I kinda did, and now I really do. And he keeps doing things that kinda make me think he likes me too. Like he will stare at me in class instead of paying attention, then at lunch he always motions for me to sit next to him instead of any of the other guys we sit with, he walks with me from class to class, he is constantly making me laugh or smile or both, and he is just completely amazing. I know those all sound like common things, but he won't do that for any other person. It's just one of those "You had to be there" kind of things. Because I can totally sense something when we are together. But here's the thing. I want him to ask me out (because I am too nervous to ask him out), but I don't think he ever will. And of course I would say yes if he did, but what do I do about the guy in Kansas. And what about the girl who likes the guy in florida? Cause that girl is one of my friends (but not one of my closest). PLEASE HELP ME! I'm so confused! Any advice at all would be greatly appriciated.
Update: Ah! Homecoming is almost here! Should I ask the guy in FL to go with me or wait and see if he asks me? Please help! Again! Lol.

personally, I have like the EXACT same problem, but the guy that loves me lives across the state bridge from me, and the guy I like is my ex. I was dating this guy named austin for a couple of months and I met this AMAZING guy named jesse. now jesse says he loves me and I love him too. but he doesn't want to ask me out because of the distance. and now austin barely talks to me because I broke up with him because I thought jesse was gunna ask me out. so now, my best friend asked out austin and she's a year older, but I don't know if I made the rightchoice by breaking up with him, because he is an AMAZING guy 2. but I don't want to lose my friend, and I still want jesse.
so I think, you should talk to the guy in kansas about what he would think if you were to date someone else. because as you said, it wouldn't work because of the distance thing. if he says it'd be fine (which is what most great guys would say) then try asking out the guy from your school (or watever) and if he says yes, try it out, if he says no, then hopefully you'll still be friends, but at least u'll still have a guy in kansas that loves you as well. and there is nothing wrong with flirting (always remember that)
He already told me that he would be okay with me dating people in Florida :] But the only other problem is that the guy I like here is one of my best friends ever.
