Ok there's a girl in one of my classes that is really pretty.
And I think I might have blown it with her.
she was talking to one of her friends and I looked over at her and I started smiling like an idiot, at that moment she looked over at me, and saw me smiling. she made eye contact and smiled back at me then I was embarrassed and looked away and then looked back and she was still smiling at me and holding eye contact. what does this mean?!?!

Update: well I should say I looked away about 4 times and she was still looking at me smiling in a kinda "nice" way.    4 months ago

lol its ok that your young, I am to. well when a girl smiles at you and tries to hold eye contact with you, she obviously likes you. when people flirt, the most consitent way of doing it is smiling, and holding eye contact. next time DONT look away. I know you must be nervous but just look back at her and lock eye contact for 3 seconds and smile.
good luck!

Maybe she likes you then. She was probably acknowledging your interest and smiling back because she's also interested. I still think you're thinking too much about something that means nothing. I'm guessing you're quite young.

First of all, SNAP OUT OF IT MAN! Haha just kiddin'. But seriously. Don't fret.
There's no need to over analyze this situation.
Think about it. All you guys did was smile at each other.
You couldn't have possibly blown anything. She smiled back at you because you smiled at her. It's pretty much an automatic reaction. It's as simple as that. Don't read into it too much.
