I'm 26, he's 29. I've been in a number of relationships and am not horribly shy. He's been with one woman and let her go only because she was pathetic and already married. He grew up thinking he was skinny. and in a small town, not worth the time.
I think he's hot. We spend a lot of time together and are going out to all sorts of events. I help him with his computer, he gives me dance lessons. We go to the river, wrestle on the floor, attend nerdy events, and he spends the night quite often. but on the futon.
He seems to be quite interested in me but for some reason hasn't made a move on me. The one time he seemed to get all hot and bothered about me was when I was oozing about this hot guy that I love to go see in concert. Bah.
What's his deal? Is he just painfully shy? Should I just make an overt move, like "Kiss me!" or waking him by running my hand along his bare sleeping shoulders?
Update: Nevermind. I just got off the phone with him and unprompted, he explained to me that shyness = no interest / just friends. So it's a moot point. Thanks anyway folks.

Certainly, but he had been making "moves" that indicated interest... that I had accepted with much happiness. He practically could have jumped into bed with me, kissed me, whatever, had he wanted to. Turns out he was feeling out relationship possibilities and decided to just keep it friends. - 3 months ago
