There is a guy at school that I want to go for, but he is really shy. I am used to guys talking to me first, smiling at them is all I ever really do. But this guy is so shy he doesn't look at anyone, so I can't just smile at him. He also comes into class right beore the bell rings so I can't talk to him before class. What should I do, how can I talk to him?
No! I don't agree with that other guys comment. (I have real life experience on this) My girlfriend was EXTREMELY shy! and I didn't take things that that slowly. just be a friend to him, as in walk up to him and start talking. he will eventually open up, and that's when you ask him out. (if you just get a pencil and say thanks and leave it at that, it will show him ur not interested, and with he's self esteem, he will write you off as in "Your out of my league" and has no chance with you,so when you really tell him you like him, he will have small panic attacks, and think your playing a mean joke on him.)
TRUST ME.hes shy, and if you don't get him to open up to you then its not going to work out. So just walk up to him and talk to him with small conversations,(they will always be very very very short conversations). do this a few times and he will warm up to you. then the ball is on your court to ask the question. (also smile at him on the hallways and make eye contact)
Have you forgot that guys and girls don't always think the same O_o? your (keyword) GIRLfriend was shy, and hell ill admit it I'm more of a behind the keyboard kinda guy, in other words shy so id say if a pretty girl came up to me started talking to me, considering she could borrow a pencil/pen from one of her friends? - 4 months ago

Question Asker
Thanks for your help =) I am a little on the shy side too, that is what makes this hard. Do you have any ideas what I can talk to him about? I think it would be kinda lame to be like "so... what do you think of the teacher?" haha - 4 months ago

Actually that's a good idea. tell him if you like the teacher. then act as if you don't understand the subject, then ask him if he wants to help you afterschool with the homework and such.

Well just start with the little stuff. Ask to borrow a pencil or something and when you give it back say thanks give him a smile, possibly wink? Or you in his study class, bus, lunch table? Just start small conversations
I never thought of borrowing a pencil, that is so easy! I'll try that first. Thanks for your help! =) - 4 months ago

Don't be scared girl. You must not scare him either! XD . That would be kinda bad. Just be your self. Don't make it complicated tho, he might freak. Just keep it plain simple.
