Ok.I am really confused about my feelings and I don't know what to think about this whole situation! I had this teacher, and everything was normal between us at first but as the year went on and graduation came closer and stuff.I know my feelings changed for him and I am pretty sure his changed toward me too. He told me one day, that he loved me and that I will always have a special place in his heart. Or he would be like.I love you, I just want you to know that.
I am gonna be 19 and he is gonna be 25. He told me at the end of the year, that he did like me, and hoped that my future husband ( how strange is that.iam not getting married any time soon?), realizes how lucky he really is. I caught up with him one day during school.I had to pick up Alumni stuff. and he had this pic. of us that I gave him at the end of the year, from Graduation, framed in his office. The picture kinda shocked me.I was like.huh? Its like the only thing he has up too.like he doesn't have any other things up in his office yet. Part of me says, wow, that's nice of him, I am flattered. and then the other part is like.alittle strange?
During the year, we didn't really get along. we both kind of grew on eachother. We sort of made each other change. He told me he feels that he has become a better person, teacher, everything because of some of the things we went through during the year.
I realized that he started doing strange things like, once I saw him in the hallway and it was crowded and he came out of one of the classes and told this kid, "hey you need to fix yourself up, and look decent. because there is a beautiful girl in the hallway.
I saw him at a Football Game this past week and He told me, he (w/out the use of my real name to his students), he used my whole."Struggling at the start of the year.changed my attitude.ended up passing his class with an 'A'.or the as we call it.The " miracle story ".He was like."I used that in my First day of school speech that I gave all my classes." "I told them, no one can tell me they can't pass my class.because I know a girl out there that is living proof that it is possible." "so I just thought you should know, I was talking about you to all my classes the first day of school." and then he was messing with our cell phones.trying to take pictures of me and trying to figure out how to save pics. of himself on mine, etc.
I never thought of him as anything but my teacher, but then as time passes, its like my mind changed and I know that can happen, but I guess I just don't want to loose him as a friend if things end up not working out. He has not "officially" asked me out, but I think that's because I have not really been totally receptive to his advances. Am I just reading his signs wrong?
First, ethical teachers don't date their students. Period. For that reason alone, this guy makes me nervous. That aside, maybe you're reading his signs correctly; dating you could easily become a career-killer. (See above). Moreover, remember that you're throwing mixed signals, which makes it likely that you'll get mixed signals in return. I suggest that you treasure the memory, and WALK AWAY. P.S.: Are you sure that you're the first "miracle story"? And are you sure that you'll be the last?
You have to realize this guy likes you but can't ask you out because he can loose his job. The whole future husband thing was to see if your realy interested in him and part of him knows your off limits unless you make the move. This guy is probobly praying you ask him out. He probobly is crying himself to sleep knowing that he can't without loosing his job. All you have to do is ask him out and you save him from this missery. Don't you see this? He wants to ask you out but can't without risking loosing his teaching job. If you ask him its totaly cool. Man this guy may be dying for you to ask him. Stop questioning it ask the guy out for a cup of coffee? He will be sooo happy if you do. Trust me. Ask him out.
Maybe I just don't get it...but how was my answer to his Future Husband statement, going to tell him if I was intrested in him or not? I just thought that was really random. I mean, if he would have said...any guy who likes you should feel lucky or something, I could deal with that, but future husband...?
But maybe your right..because now a days, sometimes he will see me and be like " Oh Marrisa...I have to stay away from you..." or something like that..and I'll think....well that was strange. - 3 months ago

Didn't you post this before a long time ago? It's weird, unethical, and some cases against the law for a teacher to have a relationship with a student. Are you just liking the attention he is giving you or do you really have feelings for him? I don't know if I would trust him I mean what does a teacher want with a YOUNGER student? The answer is sex. Be careful! What will your friends and family think? It's just basically wrong and immoral in my book, but if you really like him then that's your choice. I find it strange, weird, odd, gross, and down right wrong/unethical. My friends would think I was off my rocker if I went out with a teacher. It's just unheard of.
