I really like my guy friend blah blah blah. Well his friends have been trying to set us up like asking me to ask him out and stuff but I always tell them that I don't like him like that. What do I do now? I know he likes me because in ICT when we chose groups he wanted to be in my group even though he was the only boy in the group. He flirts and all that good stuff too. But like what do I do now? I've gotten to the point to where I'm sure he likes me but I don't know how to ask him out. When his friends ask him out for me (without my permission) should I go along with it?
If you like this guy, just talk with him, flirt with him, and hang out with him more. You don't have to make some kind of an official date, you can just ask him if he wants to hang out, see a movie, the things under 18's do. If his friends set one up though, why not do it? You like the guy, right?

The change into "girlfriend material" I think usually occurs through a declaration of attraction (I like you), or a tense, heavy atmospheric moment where the two of you are alone, together, and have a really romantic cuddle or kiss.
