Some girls play hard to get, and comedy will sometimes get them to respond because they want to laugh but how can I get her to talk more about herself?
For her to open up to you, you have to make her feel comfortable. A sense of humor is usually the key to breaking the ice. Be yourself and don't try too hard to get her to respond. If she's interested at all she will respond.

It depends on creative questioning. Girls usually like guys with substance and confidence, not faking it but honest and real in quality. No questions are stupid unless you think it's stupid. Stupid but creative questions will usually make girls laugh and sometimes it takes a little gesture. Do not judge a book by its cover so do not assume. It's best to ask if you don't know and don't pretend to know.
