he says, "hey your cute, wanna have a coffee with me"? Or he smiles and tries to make conversation and seems really idiotic in your presence. then he really likes you, and is totally nervous. If he's more confident, he'll give you that look with a lopsided smile, make some amusing comment, etc.
He will want to be near you, and be touchy with you. Even if it's play fighting or just finding some random reason to touch you. Also if he texts you in the middle of the day for a random reason, it means he's thinking about you.
