If I like a guy should I just talk to him? I don't want him to think of me as a floozy.. that's the main reason why I'm scared to make the first move..

I think girls should be more assertive instead of holding back what they want and how they feel. It's good to be assertive but not aggressive.

Yes, make the first move to talk to him, and yes, most guys love it when a girl comes up to him. Just like you like it when a guy comes up and talks to you (if he is cute of course), guys feel special the same way.

Guys like girls who will talk to them. If you look around at other questions and answers here, you'll see that we men are more than willing to accept the notion that women can break the ice or ask us out. And I think that's a good thing. Both sides are, after all, people.

Hopefully he likes you and it all works out. It probably will. Don't worry too much about the first impression - do your best. If he likes you, any slip-up will be cute.

It depends on the guy... some like it some don't. But generally, if he's shy and you think he even likes you just a little bit, GO FOR IT!! Make the first move. And if you are going to make the first move on a guy, whether it be shy guy or any guy in general, I think it's best to come across as MODEST, HUMBLE, and maybe a bit SHY. Do not act as if you will get him for sure. Do not act as if he's your 1239875th guy you have hit on, and you can just blow him off if he says no. If he sees or feels that you are the type who ONLY initiate with only a special FEW, then that should be a big turn on. Now go ahead and try it, it's the 21st century... it's perfectly fine for women to ask men out, etc.. just don't over do it =)

I wouldn't just run up and ask him out, I would get to know him for a while, see if he likes you back, then ask him if he hasn't already asked you.

Some guys like that. I don't mind at all if the girl makes the first move, it's just how she makes it. First impressions mean a lot.
