My friend and I like this guy and she asked him out about a week ago and he said HECK NO! And I asked him out at the beggning of the year and he said no. But lately he has been smiling at me and gettin just a hint of red in the face, like I definately do, and I don't know weather he likes me and I'm to afraid to ask him and I know his friendsa but I'm not gonna get them to do it and I almost never talk to him but when I see him I bacicly melt and I don't know how he feels and I would feel stupid to ask him out and him say no.
Update: plus he is the shy kinda guy and I like those kinda guys but I don't think he even notices me no matter what I do

Even if he does like you, he sounds like a total jerk! And think about your friends feelings, she must be hurt! I would definitely avoid this one, he is not even close to worth your time.
Well, if he's comfortable enough to tell a girl "heck no" when rejecting her then he can't be that shy. If you wanna ask, just ask. BUT if it were me I would expect him to make the move this time if he had already rejected me once he can't expect me to be tempted to go through it again. He could be playing head games because he knows you like him but if he actually likes you back this time then he'll make a move seeing as you've already done your part. Why not strike up a conversation with him and before you walk away just tell him he seems like a really nice guy and it's a shame he turned you down because you think he would have been a fun date. At least then he knows your still interested and that you're open to him asking.
