There is this guy that I like at school we are in the same psychology class right now and he usually talks to me before and after class I have also kind of noticed that he checks to see if I am in class that day if I do not get a chance to talk to him before class. I have also noticed that he says hi[my full name] every time he sees me in the hallway even though he is usually talking to some other person. We also usually talk after school because of a club that we both joined at the beginning of the year before I even knew him. I have told this to some of my friends and they think that I should ask him out. However I do not want to because I am very shy and I want to find out if he is interested in me first. what is your opinion?

It sounds like he probably likes you. Usually when someones uses your name when talking to you, they want you to notice them. It sounds like you guys get along well because you can talk. My advice would be to advance your flirting when you talk. Compliment him, touch his arm when you talk, and always smile. If he responds positively, ask him to help you with something. When guys will spend time on you, usually they like you. Time is valuable to guys.

My ideal first date would probably be somewhere nice, not too fancy. I can go anywhere and eat, you can even bring me to a food court. Going to the movies will be fun too. Most importantly, he must treat me with respect.What I wear depends on where we are going but I would say my style is casual and chic.The date would probably end either by hugging or a quick peck.
