When my parents left town for business reasons a few months back, the son of some family friends who I had always been friendly with, but never actually spent time 1-on-1 with suggested we go play pool together on a friday night. I had always sort of realized (i had heard through some people I know he was interested & I catch him checking me out all the time) that he was interested in me, so it didn't really surprise me when he suggested this. Now its been maybe 2 months that we meet up on weekends for pool, to check out a cool view of the city at night (we are both really into architecture), etc. We've also been chilling out watching hockey together (we always end up snuggled up together on the couch in my apt - initiated by me), and had a few snowball fights that ended in us trying to throw each other down in the snow. The more time goes by, the more we seem to be clicking and getting along really well. I feel like i'm flirting like crazy, both verbally and physically, but the thing is that he doesn't seem to be reacting. Thats not to say he isn't nice... he seems to remember everything I have ever said, and he even came to see me when I was sick. He just doesn't seem to be flirting, though he isn't shutting down my flirting either. I know I'm a bit older and the one with a little more experience in terms of relationships, but I've never been with a guy who doesn't take initiative. Is it possible he's just shy or has he just suddenly stopped being interested? If he's waiting I can't figure out what for.
Most likely he's just shy...if he doesn't get used to it after a couple months then you may wanna talk to him about whats going on, other than that your doing everything ok!

Describe your ideal first date; Where do you go? What do you wear? How does the date end?
My ideal date would be somewhere where we could talk and get to know each other like bowling (my town has nothing else to do but that and movies so I'm limited) skating would be fun. I'd try to look as nice as possible but still being me. Do my hair all perfect and stuff like that:). I'd take her home where hopefully a kiss might happen. Just on the lips no tongue. It is the first date after all ;)

Hopefully that I'm a great guy who will be himself around you or anyone. Do anything to make you laugh. That I'm not afraid to show that I'm with you in public or in front of "the guys". That I'm rather sensitive but can still stand up for myself. That I can be both independent and dependent. & I'm dependable. Also that I'd do a lot to impress you. =]]
