I used to like this guy, he knew I liked him, but things were on really bad terms with him and his ex, this was like, last year. Now we're pretty close, and flirty, he sometimes touches my leg in lessons, but not in a really 'typical guy, slutty girl' sorta way, but just innocent flirting. He's really sweet around me, he treats me different to my mates, like with them he'll mess around like getting them in a headlock and silly things like that, and try and trip them up, that sorta thing, but with me he never does, he's just really gentle and sweet, and whenever they say something like 'how come you're not mean to her like you are to us' he'll just change the subject. But the thing is, whenever he's round his friends he doesn't pay any attention to me, as if he's embarrassed. And it isn't really a big deal, it's just sometimes it's really obvious, not to other people, but to me. I've thought about saying something, but whenever we're talking on msn, I always get the feeling I'm bugging him, he's never said it, but I get the feeling I go on too much, and am too upfront about it all. Sorry this is so long, but I just need an idea of whether I should say anything to him, and if yes, then what. Thanks xxx
Update: Oh, and I just thought, maybe some guys like keeping girls and friends separate? Doesn't explain why he ignores me around them, god he's so confusing.

Again. Age range under 18. At that age, as a guy you're worried what your friends think, and also, you want to look tough and cool. The last thing you want your so called, cool male friends to know, is that you got feelings for a girl. And if you do let them know, they can start calling you names or like my friends used to do, embarrass you in front of the girl. So best thing to do is act tough and cool, and yea, you ignore the girl while the friends are around. So typical of the age range. Things change as guys mature, and get older!
He's like me kinda of old school, meaning he a rough dude with friends but wants to treat you like a lady. Really deep down a guy knows when your "giving him the go" but he might be bit shy and embarrassed he will look stupid in front of his friends. Well, I can say this a lot of you young girls are way more aggressive than women were when I was dating so grabbing the hand and being a little more aggressive won t hurt! Time to step up and make him make a decision.
Well, there is a lot of guys out there that will hang with you and be nice and all that. But when it comes to their friends when they're around them, it's like you're not there. If it was me I would of said something as soon as it started showing! So what you need to do is talk to him about it and see what he has to say about it. If he is embarrassed because he likes you and what his friends think then there ain't anything true going on! *good luck*
