I find older men to be more refined, studied and compromising than boys my age. Try to gravitate towards the idea of men in a book store relative to the science section, or men that have graduated with a liberal arts degree. Not to be confused with the washed up bar floozy with an iced hand, overdue child support, horn dog whistling loser type of late 20 year old that paws at anything in sight. I know sophisticated men typically date their age, but help me steer them towards me whilst escaping pedophiles, please.
I am taken by your rapier wit and palaver. So I shall endeavor to assist you in your quest, since as you put it, you seek an educated, refined older man, perhaps with a "liberal arts degree". Would my bachelors of arts, rutgers university qualify? Lol
Yes, well then.
First of all, chess. You'd be surprised how many men play, and we're not all complete eccentric. Some of us are quite grounded/
Secondly, you are already close to the mark with books/bookstores. Language is always a good place to start. I used to like to try to meet russian girls (about 100 years ago, when I was your age and I lived in ny). You'd be surprised how easy it was for me (as an average looking guy to snare a 9 or 10 for the evening, simply because I speak decent belarus).
Thirdly, if you can bare the techies (and they're not nearly as cool as we history types, nor as passioniate), then by all means. Remember, they are richer then we are. The downside is that they've never seen breasts, so when they finally do see yours, it'll be as though you were back in highschool again. Lol
In any case, remember, if you wish to engage an older man on his ground, be a lady, above all.
It may never happen honestly. America flays most guys that have relationships with underage girls/women, so it will keep them hesitant to approach anyone that could be a risk.
My suggestion would be, dress as if you were much older than you are, don't wear t-shirts or anything that could be deemed "cute". The more elegant or classy, the better. Look at women from the age category you want to date, and go with that as your idea of what to wear.
I don't know where you got the idea that sophisticated men date women their age. Maybe you're confusing it with the fact that sophisticated men gravitate towards older women because they just can't deal with the immaturity level of many of the younger girls out there. as far as getting these men. Are you going out to the bookstore to meet them there, or do you have a hang out place where you can see these men? Of course, no matter what location you are in, if you spot a guy you like, then easiest thing to do is establish eye contact, and smile. Of course, let's say you're at the book store, and you see a guy sitting reading something. How to get his attention? I'll tell you what my friend does, as she is very creative----she walks by the guy and drops her keys. Suddenly the noise of the keys takes the guy out of his concentration, and either he picks up the key, or if he doesn't, as my friend is picking them up, she immediately says, oh, I'm sorry for disturbing your concentration, and then most guys say, oh, is ok, and my friend goes on to say. What are you reading there?
Another method she uses, is to trip on the guy's foot, or she makes me call her mobile as she walks by the guy, and now as she walks by him, and the guy is giving her a dirty look of disapproval, again, she starts conversation with him. Granted, my friend is very daring, but that' what get her the guys she wants to date.
As far as the age, if you talk to the guy, you can always find a way to slip in your age somewhere. That way you won't scare him off cause he thinks you're jail bait.
What does it mean if a girl (age 18-24) ,who has a child, likes a guy (age 18-24) who is younger than her? And the guy is going to finish his diploma...
