What is the first thing that will make you want to go up to a guy and flirt with him? Is it his looks, how he is acting, who is around him, etc?

A guy's
personality will
make me want to flirt;
plus the way he carries
himself, if he's acting like
a jerk, or looks too immature,
it's a great turnoff! I'll most likely
flirt with a guy whom has a nice smile,
looks clean, and looks like he can keep
a nice conversation flowing with anyone
regardless of their age, sex, ethnic background etc...

it's definitely looks first...personally for me it's his smile. if he has dimples and is tall I'm pretty much sold... but if he's douchey or boring when you start talking, the attraction leaves as quickly as it came...

i don't just go up to guys and flirt, per se. I kinda wait till I'm around them or they come up to me.

what makes me want to flirt back? well...i'd say his face and personality are the most important things. if he's at least decent looking, then that's cool. personality is just as, if not more, important, because you can't flirt with someone with no personality. he should be outgoing, smiling, fun, and pay attention to me (not just himself, unless he's nervous).

i like a guy who's laughing, and I like a nice friendly smile. I also look at how well he takes care of himself, so I look at how his hair is kept and what he's wearing...how he smells.

The way he acts and a nice smile. If he looks like he is an interesting person, I will want to get to know him. I like guys who read a lot, so if he is reading an interesting book, it gets my attention.

metaldave20 So you dismiss those who aren't reading, right away? - 11 months ago
Answerer No, of course not. This is just my personal preference. For some guys, if they see a redhead, they are instantly attracted. For me, if I see a guy reading something that looks interesting, he gets my attention pretty quickly. It makes me want to talk to him and find out more about him. - 11 months ago
Question Asker Follow-up question: What kind of books do you like? Like what title would make you think he might be worth taking an interest in? - 11 months ago
Answerer Historical biographies (anything history related), film criticism or film history (if he is reading Anthony Lane's anthology, I would probably just ask him to marry me!), economic theory, popular science (like The Elegant Universe), mostly non-fiction stuff. Oh, and also the funnies! If he's reading old school comics like Peanuts or Calvin and Hobbes, then that would also catch my attention for sure. - 11 months ago
