There's this good guy friend of mine and we met when we played the roles of two characters who were in love in a school musical. We flirted a lot, he really enjoyed spending time with me, we were both real sad when it was over. His friends would tease him about all the extra private rehearsals with me he was always at instead of hanging with them, but when they realized he actually enjoyed it they apologized. He also use to ask me for hugs quite often ( when there was an excuse). Now this isn't usually a type of guy that would get to know me (although I am pretty) he's cute, very talented and EVERYONE just likes him and always wants to hang with him. He'd always have reasons to be around me or hanging out and we had a lot of fun together.
Here's the thing. Ever since the musical is over, yes, he keeps coming to see and talk to me but I feel like we're going dry. There aren't as many excuses to hang out, and even though he walks me to my house and we talk during lunch or say hi in the hall, the flirting isn't nearly as much and I never even laugh at his jokes anymore. We also have no more physical contact what so ever. No hugs, no tickling. All our conversations are more serious and other then that, we don't have fun moments together anymore.
He suggested to get me to change my schedule so that I would be in one of the same classes as him ( it was the same coarse only different times) but I couldn't. He had a spare so he joined my option class because it was the only other fun coarse that interested him. He still walks me home, but I just want to know how we can actually start having fun again. I'm not sure if he still feels like everything is the same or if he's trying to make it fun again by being in the same class. This would give us more time together (even though everyone else often prevents him from talking to me since they like him and always want his attention) to have an excuse to hang out more but I want it to feel like we use to.
So here I have two questions. Does it sound like he likes me or am I taking his signals in the wrong way? Do you have any suggestions on how we can start flirting and having fun again? I think it's my fault things are getting dry. I don't know, please help me!
It definitely sounds like he likes you, but from the way you describe this guy, he could mean 'let's just be friends. ' The way to tell is to see how he treats other girls. If you're different, then he probably likes you.
If I were you I would totally just hug him the next time I saw him. Make Chuck Norris jokes. Wink at him in class whenever he catches your eye. If that doesn't sound like it would work for you, just remember to do stuff that would make him laugh and find excuses to be close to him. If you get him used to having fun with you again, then things will be more like the musical. And laughing or at least smiling at his jokes is a must!
It's just that I feel all intimidated when all these people keep being excited to see him and are always around him. He'll say hi to me when with his friends, look at me like he expects me to stop and talk to him, but I'll just say hi and walk away shyly. - 6 months ago

Oh that is difficult. But always do as much as you feel brave enough to. Even asking about homework can end up starting a conversation. Basically, talking to him as much as you feel brave enough to will always help. - 6 months ago
Question Asker
We're back to normal again now. I actually pulled him a side and asked him if he felt like I was ignoring him. He said no. I told him that sometimes I get shy talking to people when their surrounded by others. It broke the ice for me and we're talking. - 6 months ago

That's great! I wouldn't have thought to recommend that but I'm so glad it worked for you.
It does sound like this guy likes you a lot--walking you home, trying to get into your classes. - 6 months ago
