Okay Stupid Question (no stupid answers though please) but is buying a girl a drink at a bar really something that they like/ turns them on/ or whatever. What is it about a guy buying you a drink that you like so much ladies? How do girls interpret that and what goes through their head after the guys gives them a drink?
On a scale of 1 to 10 how important/how much do you appreciate that/ what does that make you think of the guy?
I may be unlike everyone else (for the most part), because I find it so tacky if a guy approaches me in the bar asking if he can buy me a drink. This is simply because he's JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER GUY. I want a guy to show me that he notices me. But in a less cliche way. That has him thinking outside of a box.
I love it, it shows that he's into me and willing to spend his money on a drink to impress me. I like it whenever a man wants to spend his money on me. It's flattering, and a nice way to get my attention.
I've argued about this a lot with my friends so maybe I'm not normal, but I really DON'T like a guy I don't know buying me a drink. I feel like he's trying to buy my time or attention. I feel like I owe him something. I'd rather him find something interesting/funny to say (no creepy pick up lines though! ) just casual conversation. That way there is a lot less pressure on both sides and we can just get to know each other, and take things from there. It seems to me that a girl who likes free drinks is too absorbed in her ego and the contents of your wallet!
Last night, I went for a friend's birthday to a local 'Irish style' bar. A friend of hers who I have never met before bought me a beer (I didn't hint...
