About 3 months ago, I noticed a new driving instructor round town, the reason, normally you just get a nod or hand up, she always gave me what I would term a very enthusiastic and friendly wave. Last week I was putting mail in a letter box, when I heard behind me, what could only be a woman running in high heels. I turned and looked directly at her, as by now she was right alongside me, I DID NOT RECOGNIZE HER! I turned and walked back towards my car, however I was interested as a male, so I turned back to have a look, I thought she had come out of a nearby building, as she had no coat on, she was walking slowly back to her car, it was then I realized who it was, I started to walk back, but she reached her car and drove off, long before I got anywhere near it. I spent the rest of the day kicking myself. The next few days, I kept my eyes open for her car, but there was no sightings, if nothing else I wanted to apologize for being a plank! After a few days, I confided in one of my male pupils, and he agreed, that if we saw her, he would see how she reacted, lo and behold, 10mins later, her car turned into the road we were on, and started driving towards us, you'll find out now, said my pupil, as by then we were parked at the side of the road. Sure enough, she leaned forward in her seat, gave me a brilliant smile, and a very enthusiastic wave. My pupil, said to me, I guess your alright, I expected her to blank you! Come to think of it so did I. Problem is, I can't get this woman out of my mind, especially after turning my back on her, I think she saw me on foot, and pulled in double quick, as she had left her car in a disabled bay! L.
Ike most men I don't want to make a fool of myself, but I would really like to speak with her, before we end up meeting at the test center when we take pupils to test. Is there an interest in me, or is it just my imagination, as we are both in the same field of work? I have spent the last couple of days, trying to work out, how I can engineer a meeting, as every time I've seen her, apart from last week of course, we have both had pupils in the car. Any advice on this would be much appreciated, thank you.
I'm sure she's just being friendly. If you're sure she noticed she may just be trying to forget it so working isn't weird or full of drama. And she could have noticed but not thought anything of it because she's used to it or just doesn't care and therefore is just being friendly. I'm sure she's not all of a sudden interested in you just because you gave her the once over.
Well she *could* just be happy when she drives by because you are both driving instructors. But if she was dressed up and ran up to you to make sure she caught you before you left, then I say she is really interested.
If there is a phone number on her car advertising the school she works for, call it and see if she answers. Or ask for the business' address. Then go and visit it some time. Also, you could try waving her flagging her down, next time she waves, hold up an index finger asking her to wait and point over to the nearest parking lot. If/when she pulls over or has her student pull over, just say you would like to get together some time with her. Hopefully the students don't mind. As you would be directing them to take turns and park anyways, but do keep the meeting to a max of like 5 minutes if you do talk to her this way.
I'm sure she will say yes if she is that excited to see you. :) Good Luck!

It's really annoying when people flirt with your boyfriend. Even if it's just friendly it can sometimes be too much. It gets even worse if the person flirting is your friend. When a friend hits on...
