you don't need to wear a bikini to look hot. if you feel more comfortable in a one piece than wear a one piece. go with something simple though...too fancy just looks slutty (that goes for bikinis and one pieces).

if you want to flirt than you gotta turn off the ipod, and better to take off the sunglasses as others have mentioned. go up to a guy and say hi. smile.

Yeah, if you're sitting by the pool with sunglasses and an iPod, you will look a lot less approachable. There is a lot to be said about leaving channels of communication open - your eyes and ears, for example. If you are planning to do a lot of lounging, make plans to frequently get up and walk around. Make eye contact with the guys you think are cute, smile at them, and if they get this hint (it may take a few times), they will be more likely to break through the barriers of your sunglasses and headphones to get your attention on 'their' terms.

find a guy your intersted in
and go where he goes in the pool or drop something in front of him
and when he does look at you smile at him

maybe instead of going with your sister, go with a bunch of friends, that way you can talk (to get rid of the boredom) and talk about some of the boys you see!
another option: lay on one of those inflatable mattresses in the pool. guys might be tempted to mess with it :)

well try a bikini on for size and loose the ipod..and try a book instead or a magazine just flip through it like your just tanning or something oh and getting in the pool would help
