There is this one girl that I like that I sit next to in a couple classes. She's just an overall nice person and I'm not really sure if she's into me or just being nice. I noticed a few things about her over the past couple of weeks. 1) She always greets me when she walks into the room 2) She'll write on my notebook a lot. Most of the things she writes are silly and she always asks me to respond 3) She'll copy the way I sit. When I decide to slouch back in my chair and stretch out my legs, she'll do the same soon after I do. Or when I move back up to take notes she'll do the same. When I get bored and start drawing on the paper, she starts bolding her letters. 4) She'll always smile and laugh if I try to be funny. Even when I know what I just said was stupid and I wish I could take back she'll still laugh. 5) Whenever we watch a video in the class she has to move up to see the TV since we sit in the back and she'll ask me to sit next to her in the front. 6) She'll ask a lot of questions to me during class. Sometimes she doesn't understand something and ask me or she'll say that the teacher sounds like he has a cold. Sometimes she will ask me to ask the teacher a question that she doesn't want to ask. 7)She touches me a lot. She'll punch me every now and then when I make fun of her or bump her elbow into mine when were taking notes or grab my arm out of nowhere and sometimes our legs will touch underneath the table and stay together for 4-5 minutes. 8) every once in a while we'll turn and look at each other and just stare at each other usually ending with her making some crazy face and then going back to notes. 9) She'll give me a wave and a smile when ever we see each other in the halls
She's one of the more popular girls in the school and one of the nicest and for that reason I don't know if she really likes me or she's just being nice.
It totally sounds like she likes you--the clincher is the copying. It's usually called 'mirroring' by the people who study flirting, and it's not something she can tell she's doing. Just make sure she's not treating everyone else the same. If she is, it doesn't mean much. A lot of the stuff (like sitting next to you, asking you questions) sounds like stuff who could only really do to one guy.
But it doesn't mean anything for her to like you if you don't do anything about it. Wave back in the halls. Don't be afraid to touch her too. Talk to her a lot.
Soon, you should probably casually ask her out--not 'on a date,' but 'to the movies. ' Keep doing that kind of thing for a while until you're sure she wants to 'go out' with you instead of just going out. If that makes sense.
I do #1, #7 and #9 to every person I know so I don't think that counts. But I would say it is possible, not certain that she likes you. Its more likely than not, but she might be flirting just because.
Ok I would say that she absolutely likes you. If she asks you a lot of questions and talks a lot to you in class that may just mean she is a flirt but the legs touching and the staring is definitely a sign that she likes you more then a friend! Good luck!
Yes, she definitely likes you! Hopefully she doesn't act like this around all the guys (otherwise she is just a flirt who likes attn), but sounds like this special attention is reserved for just you. Go for it!
Oh my god yeah she likes a lot when you ask her she will be like or no. but she really does. I mean if she copy off you and touches you and asks to sit with you. she does you should ask her out good luck.
