Best Kind Of Dog?

Border Collies are nice.

I have an adopted Miniature Pincher who is the sweetest and cutest dog I've ever seen. But can be agressive so you have to know how to take over and be alpha. But he isn't yappy and loves to just snuggle and always be with you.

We have a maltese, and while in pictures it shows they have long flowing hair, it never gets that long. Our dog's hair is what I would call short. They have a great temperament. They are playful, outgoing, easily trainable, and love to be around people. And our little dog, also tries to be a watch dog. Even though they can get pricey, they are worth every penny :)

It really depends on what you are looking for in a dog and how you raise them . . I have a "canaan dog" . . they're a medium build. they're very alert, friendly, super smart dogs, they're really fond and protective of they're owner and great with young kids. they arnt very high maintenance which is a plus.

In all reality, there is really no particular breed of dog that is better than another, it all has do with how you raise it to be. For example, you can raise a pit bull that will attack anything in it's site, or you can raise one-like I once had-that loves to cuddle with kitties :) Seriously, I had a pit bull and a cat that were best friends! If you want a small dog, get one. If you want one in between, get it. If you want a bigger one,get it. All dogs are like kids in an adoption agency: looking for a home and love.

I really, really like german spitzes. They are seriously some of the friendliest dogs ever. They're not short hair, but you can shave them.

aw... why no beagles? I have two. they're so sweet and loveable!
