I mean. No one really likes me. Like I have the 4-6 girls I hang out with all the time but I'm not really known around the school! How do I get known around the school?

I agree with the ladies. If you try too hard, or seem to desperate or clingy, it will push people away. Just be yourself, and do what you're good at. People will respect and like you for the things you're good at. Just be nice to people, don't talk crap behinds people's back, and you will be respected.

And I know this won't really mean a lot right now, but high school is just a small phase. I know it seems really important and it's your "life" right now, but in a couple years, it will all be different. Everyone moves away for different schools, and at most colleges, there is no such thing as really being "popular. " People aren't out to impress each other as much in college like it is in high school. It's more important about being yourself, learning your values and morals, and finding out who you really are. If high school sucks for someone, then its not that big of a deal, because in college, your slate is wiped clean. You have a chance for a new beginning. So have fun, be safe, and enjoy your high school years, but remember, it seems important now, but it won't be in a couple years.

I say just get more involved. Join clubs, join one of the sports teams. I was definitely not well know in high school until I started playing volleyball and cheerleading. That got me out in the open more and I met a lot of people. Give it some time and make the effort! Good luck!

You will never get known around the school by everybody. And you should not want to. If you aren't comfortable with yourself. Can you expect other people to be comfortable with you? That is a big expectation if you think about it.

Unless you sleep with 3 different guys in a night. Don't expect to get known. And that wouldn't be a good way to get known for anyways!

4-6 friends isn't bad. I know people with less that that. I personally am friends with everybody. I have over 50 friends, but I only have 10 CLOSE, CLOSE friends. And I have another 100 acquaintances. Guess what though. I would be fine if I only have my 10 close friends. Because those are the ones that are ALWAYS there and will always be there for me!

If you want to get "known" go to a few parties. And maybe get on a sports team. Like track!

Good luck!

First, stop trying so hard
and do your best not to annoy anyone
If you have a lot of energy save that for your cheering
everyone cool has there "thing" like a sport, humor, smarts, artisticness, ect.
try and improve what yours is
and remember that popularity is relative to the person's point of view
the more friends you have the more popular you will be

Your user name implies that you are a cheerleader. If that's the case, that's a good way to meet people at school. Joining clubs, running for student council, and playing sports are all good ways to meet more people. I was never an athlete, so I got involved in after school clubs where I met a ton of people. Even just talking to people in your classes will help. If you have one or two friends you usually sit with in each class, try sitting somewhere where you know absolutely nobody around you- it will almost force you to introduce yourself to the other students!
