How do guys have respect for girls?

I respect a girl who doesn't need to get physical with guys for attention. She doesn't need to dress so her boobs are hanging out. She is confident in her looks. She can dress sexy, but not slutty. I respect girls who aren't stuck up. Girls that aren't mean, petty, or witchy to other girls.

His mom (or parents/family in general). People are raised and socialized to treat others well. Or they aren't. Guys who are raised to treat women well will be respectful towards great gals as well as not so great gals. I treat the people around me with respect. How one treats others is really about one's view of oneself, one's upbringing, and one's character.

It really isn't dependent on the girl in question.

Doesn't put out on the first date, dresses decent but yet still sexy, Stands up for herself, career-driven, respectful to others and kind. Overall, guys respect girls who respect themselves and others.
