Men can have children up until pretty much the very end of our lives, so we don't have a time limit
I find it annoying to talk about considering the current state of economics in the US market - with the dollar dropping like a rock, and the middle class becoming an endangered species - combined with my desire to not raise children in an apartment, or in a city for that matter, makes the whole conversation rather irritating at best - in order to be able to provide what is required, one needs to get closer or even into the third quintel of income - of course every man on some level wants children, so asking about it accomplishes nothing - unfortunately when we say "someday", most women seem to read that as "never" - so the smarter guys just say yes or just dump the girl
There are much bigger problems to resolve first then determining when to have kids, and considering a lot of people are having kids way into their 40's - there is no rush - but if its a big deal in your early 20's - hope you can find a trust fund or Pillsbury kid, or settle for living in a trailer park - my 1 cent (that used to be worth 2cents)
I don't feel like I have a time limit, per se, but lately I have been thinking quite a bit about having a family. For example, I'm trying to get into a bigger house and want an extra room for "future expansion" as I put it to my friends. That's probably the closest I'll talk about it with my friends...just hinting as yes, it's kinda weird to talk about it. Expressing feelings violates "Man Law" code. :P
I mean, I want to have kids, wouldn't mind having a significant other in my life, and probably eventually will get married (though I speak against marriage all the time to my friends). These thoughts the past couple of years have increasingly popped into my mind. But first things first, gotta have a girl first to make that happen. ;) Time will tell.

Not a problem . :) 'Tis what this site (ideally) is for .
A thought: If you're asking because you're wondering if a guy in your life is thinking about this, well, if you want to talk to him about it, just take it slow . Talking about it "guy-to-guy" violates "Man Law" but, talking about it with a female is a little easier (but not by much) . :) - 9 months ago
Well if I want a young beautiful wife, I should find one while I am also young, because I don't expect a girl in her 20's to fall for a guy in his 40's . Yes it probably happens, but it's too rare for me to count on . So I feel I want to get married before I'm 30 for that reason .
Also, this has nothing to do with a biological clock, but if I want to retire while I'm not extremely old, say 50, then I would like the kids to be out of the house and off to college at that age . So by my late 20's or early 30's I should take care of business .
When I was with my ex I felt like I wanted to settle down. than when we broke up I was a little worried. I thought I only have a few years left! But then I realized I have a whole life in front of me. So I mean the thought of a biological clock went through my head but I think it was more a fear. I have gotten over it. Women are different because they have the pressure to have kids and some don't want to miss their chance. I guess nobody really wants to be 50 when there 1st kid is turning 5.
No, I don't think they do . At least not like women . They can father children later in life . It certainly doesn't weird me out to talk about it ! My girlfriend and I always discuss it ! We are thinking about it !
I think most guys will tell you that their biologic clock stops ticking when they die . In theory, a man could get married in his 70s and still father a child or two so there isn't the same sense of urgency as for women whose clock appears to be accelerating and increasing in volume by their 30s .
I also never felt weird talking about it even in my teens as I was always pretty sure of what it was that I wanted .
I don't think guys really have the biological clock that girls do . For me personally, my parents were really young when they got married and had me, so I had always wanted to get married young . Hasn't happened yet, still waiting, lol
But I think that for most guys, they eventually get tired of the party, sex scene, and it gets old after a while . I think then they find someone special that really changes them and makes them want to settle down a bit .
Also, as a guy starts losing his hair, gaining weight, and realizing that every day that goes by, he's getting uglier, fatter and balder . He realizes he needs to hurry and find an attractive woman fast before he loses all his looks, lol .
Hey! Watch the balding, gaining weight comments. Getting uglier? Thats hitting below the belt!! (LOL) I would like to be a father again! - 9 months ago

Lol believe me, my corners are starting to creep up, so getting in the same boat. My problem is that I have an ugly head, so once i'm bald, I'm screwed. I need to hurry up and trap a girl and get married before it's too late. - 9 months ago
LoL. Trap one. That's funny because usually it's portrayed that the woman traps the man. Just thought I'd let you know that made me giggle! Good answer too. - 9 months ago
