The friend has a boyfriend who is a complete asshole . You meet a really nice guy . She talks down about the nice guy because she is jealous . Do any women have a friend like that ?
Whenever I say something that makes me happy I expect an "OMG you're joking! Seriously!? You're so lucky! " But all I get is "Hmm. " or "Ohh. " or some smart-ass comment like "Well I heard that it's boring"
And when it comes to the guy I like at the moment - she says "You could so much better btw - he's ugly" and I say "Well. I like him - he's not bad in my eyes" and she says "Noo way he's horrible! "
Hmmm. But she's been a best friend of mine since we were like 6 so it'll be too hard to let her go! I might just speak to her about it.
My aunt is like that. Whenever I date a nice guy, she calls him a dork or a loser, but that doesn't stop me from dating the person though. To retaliate, I just talk about all her past boyfriends who aren't as nice as my boyfriend. I know that's mean, but she should be more worried about finding herself a nice guy instead worrying about mine. I can't stop talking to her though because we're related.
I've HAD friends like this. The reason I put emphasis on the word HAD is because if someone doesn't want me to be happy, then they aren't much of a friend in my book. Ugh I can't stand catty jealous women. I was like that in jr. High and grew out of it because I learned to embrace other people's happiness and not hate them for it lol. I love this question!
Well I kinda do my friend is single and every time I start talking to a guy and I tell her she tries to bring my hopes down by telling me that all guys are like that in the beginning but then he will treat me bad
Yea I had a friend like that all she did is make stupid remarks about guys and how they don't deserve me ! And all I had to do is listen and reject the poor guy because what did I do listen to someone who didn't know how to mind their own business ! And that wasn't even looking out for me all that was is being jealous !
Well ok If they say that he doesn't deserve you then I can understand that . But what if they are just saying he is lame because he isn't a rebel ? - 9 months ago

Then my best bet would be the girl herself doesn't know what she wants and her friends were being shallow- what they mean by the rebel type is that they want tough guys - tough guys = rough sex - rough sex =pleasure ! Girls who want rebels want guys w/tattoos & piercings and a motorcycle - basically its all media women want tough & tough is a rebel ! Did this help ? - 9 months ago
