Who believes Chris Brown not remembering?

I think there are only three possibilities:

1. He's lying because anything he said on the show might be used against him in court.

2. He was drunk or dissociated when he hit her.

3. He had temporary amnesia from when she hit him first. link It didn't go to trial partly because if she attacked him first it means she was was defending himself. She'd have to testify under oath, and other people have gone on the record saying that she had a habit of provoking him and being physically abusive. link

Sometimes we lost our selfs in rage and even forget why were mad over something,so it's possible,who knows.

I don't believe any of that BS that Chris Brown is dishing.

First off, I've not really paid attention to this whole ordeal. But something about this stuck in my craw so I thought I'd speak my mind.

I'll say that no, I do not believe him. Of course he remembers! He just doesn't want to own up to it or feel fully responsible for his actions. If he "doesn't remember" doing it, then he'll hope that people will think "it wasn't *really* the true me" and therefore be easier on him. Going by his reasoning, If Rhianna was beating on him, why does he remember that? If some musclebound guy beat the living tar outta him, maybe he could use Chris's excuse. ;)

As for those who think he's being victimized by the media and such, I'd say "you've got to be kidding me!" *Anyone* else who wasn't a celebrity or such like him would have gotten jail time for what he did. His celebrity status has two sides to it...the side that gets him out of serving justice and the side that has the public rightfully questioning his humanity as a result.

I remember me not caring about celebrity bs.

I saw clips of the show and what it sounded like to me was that he was fumbling words when he said it so the meaning he was trying to put across fell flat. It's more like he doesn't remember the details of what he did like how many times he bit her and stuff. Most people who get into a brawl don't remember much about the actual event other than that it happened, especially if it happens amid uncontrolled emotions. It doesn't excuse him for what he did though.

I didn't see the show. it wouldn't surprise me that because most of them are on drugs most of the time. anyway he did plead guilty for beating rihanna.

It's possible that he may have blacked out in a rage and that's why he didn't remember. That's scary!

I believe he is a scumbag and a terrible liar. He must be punised for what he did, no man should have the right to raise their hand or any object to a woman to harm her. Even IF he is a celeb, it doesn't mean that he's perfect, put his big butt in jail! Jerk.

It's kind of bull... And I thought he retracted the statement.

Regardless of whether he remembers, he still beat her. I don't care why.

I believe when he says he doesn't remember.
I think he's a little sh*t for what he did, but oftentimes when in a fit of rage, a person completely blacks out or as it's sometimes called, "red out". It's no excuse for what someone does when this happens, but it does happen.

He's awful & all but what he said about not remembering might be true.
My father has bipolar disorder & when he lived here & got really mad, he didn't remember what he did while he was p*ssed.
It's called rage... and it isn't made up.

Chris was able to turn himself in probably because once he calmed down and realized that Rihanna was crying/bruised/whatever, he assumed he'd done it.
It's not as though he doesn't love her, if he was in a state of rage at the time of the attack.

Of course, though, I never read anything about him being bipolar. So it could be a lie. But many people who display symptoms of the disorder go undiagnosed because it's hereditary and they likely see their family members behaving the same way, so it seems normal to them.

Even if he is bipolar, it is NOT an excuse for him to run around beating on Rihanna or anyone else. Since he sees what damage he's capable of, it's his responsibility to get himself some help.

I think he did not want to come on Larry King Live.He probably did not want to reiterate the details of what happened. I think Chris Browm was treated unfairlly in the media in my opinion.
I feel the matter should be left up to the families, counselors and courts, you know (experts), not the media. And remember, she has put her hands on him in the past as well. It's not OK for a woman to put her hands on a man either, or doesn't society recognize a double standard here?

Oh goodness. Doesn't matter if he remembers or not. She sure as hell does. And he still did it regardless of memory of doing it. Unless she beat the living crap out of herself. He's just trying to get some sympathy, which I have absolutely none for him. Man or woman, no one should ever hit their partner!
