Do guys prefer skinny, plain looking girls over a larger, pretty girl ?

guys like curves so if you have them than keep them cause your settled in for life.

I think guys who just want sex would choose the skinny and plain but guys who want to be happy would not care about how she looks as long as she makes him happy

Pretty much all the guys I know, including myself, can't stand to see a girls ribs. Personally I find love handles to be attractive. I don't necessarily want a fat girl though myself I am bigger than average. If she has a good personality and stuff then that is way more important. Tall girls can weigh more and look fine, shorter girls can't usually get away with it.

PERSONALLY,I PREFER A THICKER GIRL OVER A BAG OF BONES! I like a girl that isn't afraid to eat-but at the same time takes care of herself. Not talking about appearance as far as shape is concerned rather she dresses with class, talks educated, and is confident about herself. Skinny girls I just want to buy them food so they'll eat-i feel like they would break if I was to hug them tight.

There is a type for everyone believe me, nothing against skinny pretty ladies,but I will look at a thicker pretty lady first, some of us big guys like a woman that looks like they can handle us,and some like petite and there is nothing wrong with that just a matter of choice,just be who you are and don't worry about something like size,and looks,good luck

This is a really good question, but I must agree with one of the comments below. A lot of the guys said they love thick women. But usually a thick girl is curvy && has lovely lady lumps (lol). I'm thinking whoever posted this, seriously meant "larger, pretty girl. " and I'm sorry to be rude, yeah I'm a curvy chick, but damn, guys do not go for large girls, and that's a fact, for instence, if there was an average looking boney bitch sitting next to a gorgeous "large" chick the guy would definitely go for the thinner girl, one, because most guys are shallow and would care what everyone else thought if they had chosen the bigger chick, and two, koz he would rather settle for a girl who isn't all that pretty in the face, but at least has a decent body. Guys don't be like that! There's nothing wrong with chicks who have extra padding. Once you try it, you won't ever go back lol.

I think we may have a bit of confusion. When a girl says "do you like larger girls", I know she probably means an overweight or big girl. I think the guys are thinking of a thick or curvy girl. Most guys like a girl to have a proportionate shape over a bony girl. But guys like thin girls and rarely like big girls. It's mostly about the body but you can't have an ugly face. You can get by w/ an OK face as long as you have a good body. If you have a great face and a bad body, that's not good either.

First of all, I find it really funny that almost all the guys said they like a sturdier girl who looks healthy, and the girls who answered this so far all said skinny. But I think that just reflects what media and society of programmed us to think.

I think that guys prefer a girl who has a slimmer face, and a fuller body. If the girl has a little extra weight, it is okay, as long as it isn't reflected in her face. I also think people underestimate the power of self confidence. Regardless of body type, I think both guys and girls prefer someone who believes in, and likes themself.

Hmmm . It's safe to say that most guys prefer thin to heavy . And of course all guys prefer a pretty face to a plain face . Which is more important -- weight vs facial features -- I'm guessing that depends on the guy . But is that really what it's about ? I mean, a heavy girl can always lose some weight if she tries . And a plain girl can use makeup and clothing to make herself look prettier . There is really not a whole lot of mystery about what it takes to attract guys, and most girls can do it if they choose . At least that's how it seems to me .

From what Ive seen of guys, yes.
I mean look at some models. They aren't always the prettiest girls but they are skinny. And men go for them. It wrong! But I do know men who would pick a larger prettier woman over a skinny plain one. But its not always about looks either is it?
