We are here to find the light in the darkness. Your in this world and there's a lot of negative light(darkness) and then you have the positive(light). If you can find the light in everything and not see the darkness you'll understand, but you must not turn away from the darkness its only struggles that have to be made along the way trust me in everything in life there's a light at the end no matter how hard the struggle actually is. And just believe in yourself and just go from there.
Life is about the good times and the bad times, and trying to make the best of it. For animals it's about survival of the fittest, and not being part of the food chain. Now for humans it's different. There is the conception of "free time" to do with as one pleases. We are not the mouse, running from the cat (the prey chased by the predator); but we are the being who domesticated the predator into a pet to our advantage. See what happened there, we as humans have developed a way to take hold of the little things, and turn them into great things. Now everyday, you hear of someone-somewhere doing something great, now will today be the day you take hold of the moment and make it into a great one, no matter how big or small?
But on the other hand, we are capable of the other end of the spectrum, as much as we build, we destroy. War, Violence, hate, neglect , ignorance, what goes around comes around, I believe.
And I don't don't have a concrete answer, this is just my opinion, but what I can tell you is that "Life is not a Spectator Sport! " meaning you have to participate, to enjoy it.
We are here to be creators, to follow our emotions. Not that easy. There's a certain feeling in creating, inventing, and making your dreams come true. And that's a feeling I can not describe.
I think we are here to help other people and make the world a better place. We are here because one of us might be a doctor to invent cancer. Or we are here to help an old lady carry her groceries and just make her life easier. Or just to compliment or say hi to someone and make their day. I think we are here for other people, not ourselves.
Well stated catgirl9...I would have said the exact same thing. I am pleasantly surprised that someone in your age category would actually come up with such an enlightened answer. It has been well documented that the feeling about yourself improves when you help others. - 9 months ago

I don't know the purpose of life and nobody can claim to know either because they don't know not unless they created the world otherwise there just saying what they believe. And I don't believe in anything to be honest I think people living by rules a religion gave them is just silly you shouldnt use your life obeying a religion you should just live it and enjoy your time you have here on earth. You only live once so
Honestly? I think we are just here for our own personal reasons. I think everyone has a reason to be here, like to help someone else cope, to be someones "soul mate." But I don't quite know what I'm here for yet. But I think that's one of our goals, to find out what it is we are here for, then complete it. As for what we believe in? Personally, I believe in nothing but myself. I believe everything that happens is a result of my actions. I think one purpose that everyone shares, though, is to have fun, through the ups and downs, and never regret a second of your life, as a second worth of regret is a second wasted.
So there I was, June 19th, 2008. The day my best friend Scott and I had been looking forward to our entire senior year. The day we finally got to go to Hawaii by ourselves, with no rules, and no...
Dawn has come early today rousing me out of a restless slumber. Beads of sweat making their way down my temples. Crumpled sheets beneath me reveal another night of troubled sleep. My body still...
I just thought about this: Everytime we answer a question or give advice there is a strong chance we are creating different people in the future. How is this so you may ask, well think about it,...
