I've recently have been getting into a lot of Edgar Allan Poe's works. Any body here interested in him also? If so what is your favorite poem or story by him and what does it mean do you?
I really like his work. The Raven obviously - possibly his most well known poem. I usually shy away from the more 'celebrated' works of people - but I do love it. I also really like The Pit and the Pendulum and The Fall of the House of Usher.
I've never really studied his work in great depth - just read for pleasure.
I'm not to familiarly with his works but I do remember seeing Nevermore in a small theater as a school field trip and I thought it was excellent! I can't recall anything specific about the play that really stood out to me but just the way the actors in the theater acted it was a magnificent show.
