I went an hung out with a friend last night, and I chose not to drink at all. He had about two shots of vodka and then got tired. So we were going to go head back to the dorm. I was OK with him driving like that, considering he wasn't over the BAC limit to drive. But then he picked up another friend and were going to HOTBOX the car in a COLLEGE TOWN at 2AM in the morning with police out everywhere. I told him to just drop me off at the dorm.
Was I being too "paranoid"? I know college is the time to have fun and experiment, but I don't want a criminal record... :(
Actually not at all I would have sooooo done the same thing and to tell you the truth the guy should not have been driving the car 2 shots is normally 2 much to drive a car with that's like having 4 beers. I just tell myself any amount of boose will impair me so I won't drive at all and we all walk around campus.
Oh believe me, I thought about that, too. Really no amount of alcohol should be consumed before driving. Let alone two shots. But I wasn't wanting to walk back in the cold (it's like 30 degrees here). - A month ago

You did the right thing. As soon as the bars close, the cops head out to the streets more so to enforce the laws. I came out of a bar holding a cup of ice water once. A cop came up to my face, smelled my drink and my breath. I told him it was water and offered to let him taste it. He walked away. Watch out for yourself because no one else will! Besides, that stuff kills vital brain neurotransmitters (reefer).

The best place to hot box and never get caught is at a friend's apartment or house off campus in a closet or a bathroom. So hot boxing in a car in the open is a dumb idea. Remember the above when the idea of hot boxing comes to mind.
