I have a song that I when I listen to it, I instantly relax and can breathe without tension. That song is by Rise Against and it's called "Swing Life Away". It's just so cute and beautiful. Do you have a song that has this affect on you? If so, what is it?

"Life's Been Good" - Joe Walsh
This is awesome because it is pretty mellow and I love the story. It's kinda funny.

"You May Be Right" - Billy Joel
Fun song.

Classical music taps the best part of human emotions and develops a peaceful ambiance.

Its either of the following:
Summer Jam Mix by DJ Tiesto
Chariots of Fire from Ben Hur OST
Eye of the Tiger from Rocky OST
Pakistani/Bollywood song Aadat by Atif Aslam

Color Me Once - Violent Femmes

I was having trouble thinking of one, then my Zune shuffled to it LOL. Then I was "ahhhhhh" and entered a yoga trance. J/k, but you get the idea.

Answerer I also like, Sunshower - Chris Cornell, but it's more of an emo song. Not so happy. - 9 months ago
Question Asker Emo can make you feel happy though if you think to yourself,"Man at least I'm not going through what this guy's singing about" - 9 months ago
Answerer Yeah true :)
Usually I will turn the song off if I'm happy though, since I wouldn't want to become depressed. - 9 months ago

For pure relaxing reasons I would have to say Hey There Delilah. It instantly relaxes me and I just pick up my guitar and play along

"At Last" by the Glenn Miller Orchestra always relaxes me. Happy song at the moment would be, "It's Spring" by the Cadillacs. When I was growing up, "Footloose" was a great happy song.

Fall out boy-calm before the storm. It brings back many happy childhood memories. Don't ask why though as I never listened to that song as a child! :)

For a belly laugh, listen to John Prine's "In Spite of Ourselves". Guaranteed chuckle, but not for the faint of heart.

For bopping around the house, I love "Candyman" by Christina Aguilara (msp ?). Just TRY to stay still for THAT one !!! ; )

The one song that instantly makes me smile when I hear it is Build Me Up Buttercup. I know some people think it's a bit cheesy but it makes me want to get up a dance, I love it! Lol
